In Pharr, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Texas vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–6 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (956) 667-9988. Pharr is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Pharr is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Beware!!! Stay away from this so called shop. The people and workers working there are incompetent and extremely sloppy. The shop kept my vehicle for over year and when I finally picked it up because he never finished it, the car was a mess. I took the vehicle for one thing and mysteriously other things were going bad. I wonder if he was purposely breaking them…🤔. Windows wouldn’t roll down, the paint sun burned due to exposure, bumper scratches, seats dirty from grease…etc. The workers are not qualified and difficult to understand because they don’t speak english. People are saying that the shop has been cited for city violations. Do your homework and take your vehicle somewhere else if not you’re going to go through legal matters with these people. Ask the owner to provide you with license to operate as certified mechanics. Owner claims that he’s kept four vehicles over disagreements with customers . Save yourself aggravation and do your homework in dealing with this unethical person and shop. My concerns will be addressed with the BBB. as well…

I took my 70k FORD to get a 10 in lift … these guys put my blocks to lift wrong , my whole drive shaft came out left me stranded. They don’t know what the heck they are doing !!!! Then my transfer case got jacked.. big dreams did. Not take responsibility for this and had to pay another 4,000 dollars to repair my truck ! Transfer case with a spacer because they didn’t put one … these guys are a joke and do not do anything professional… they will not help me … THESE GUYS KNOW NOTHING ON LIFT!!!!!

Just a so called mechanic. Take your vehicle here if you have weeks of time to get minor issue fixed. Good luck communinating back with Ulysses as they won't answer. I guaranty you your car will have more issues once he is done fixing. Be prepared to spend hundreds more to fix the problems he will cause your vehicle.
